Mom-Approved: Chocolate Chunk Cookies Rolled in Mini M&M’s

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg My Better Batch Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix

  • 1 Large Egg
  • 6 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
  • 1 large bag Mini M&M’s

Directions

  1. Start by preheating your oven to 375°F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper - you’ll thank yourself for easy cleanup later!

  2. Pour half the bag of Mini M&M’s into a small bowl - you can always add more later!

  3. Pour one package of Chocolate Chunk cookie mix into a large mixing bowl. Add one large egg and 6 tablespoons of unsalted butter that has been softened. Using a hand or stand mixer, combine the ingredients until a dough forms. Alternatively, you can hand knead the dough if you don’t have a mixer.

  4. Use a cookie scoop or a large spoon to take two tablespoons of dough at a time. Gently roll into a ball. Once formed, roll each cookie ball into the Mini M&M’s, coating the exterior completely. Place each cookie on the prepared baking sheets, 2 ½ inches apart.

  5. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Allow the cookies to continue resting on the baking sheet for an additional 5 minutes, then move to a plate or wire rack to cool completely.
