Better-than-homemade flavor for the Queen City!

From busy mornings in Uptown to weekend gatherings in Lake Norman, Charlotte families are choosing a better way to bake. My Better Batch was founded right down the road in the Triad by Lindsay Hancock, a mom who knew that Charlotte’s busy parents and dessert lovers deserved a shortcut that didn't taste like one.

Whether you’re heading to a Panthers tailgate or hosting a neighborhood book club in Myers Park, you can find our premium, clean-label cookie mixes at over 70 locations across the Charlotte metro area.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many cookies does one box of cookie mix make?

Each bag makes approximately 16 cookies. We recommend using a 2-oz cookie scoop for that perfect "bakery-style" uniform look.

Do I need to chill the dough?

No! Our mixes are specifically formulated to go straight from the bowl to the oven. There is no need to wait an hour in the fridge - perfect for last-minute school treats or unexpected guests.

The Caveat: If you are following one of the specialty cookie recipes from the blog, you may see a recommendation to chill the dough. This is usually because we’ve added extra ingredients that need time to firm up, so your cookies don’t spread too much.

Are your mixes good for school bake sales?

Yes! Because our mixes use clean, non-GMO ingredients without artificial preservatives, they are a favorite for Charlotte parents who want that "made-from-scratch" quality for school events without spending hours in the kitchen.
