Ingredients
Strawberry Sugar Cookies
-
1 pkg My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix
- 8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 (12 g) Bags Freeze Dried Strawberries, Crushed
Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
-
1 pkg My Better Batch Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
- 8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 Large Egg
Directions
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
Gently crush the freeze-dried strawberries directly in their bag using a rolling pin or by pressing with your hands. Set the strawberries aside.
Put 1 package of Double Chocolate Chip mix, 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter that has been softened, and 1 large egg in a large mixing bowl. Use a stand or hand mixer to combine the ingredients on low-medium speed for 2-3 minutes. Once fully mixed, set the cookie dough aside.
In a second bowl, add the Classic Sugar Cookie Mix, 8 tablespoons of softened unsalted butter, and 1 large egg, and mix until almost combine. Add crushed freeze dried strawberries to the dough and turn back on medium speed until fully incorporated and the dough has formed.
Take one tablespoon of double chocolate chip cookie dough and one tablespoon of strawberry sugar cookie cookie dough and press them together, rolling gently to form a ball. Place each ball on the prepared cookie sheets, 2 ½ inches apart. Continue until all of the dough has been used.
Bake each sheet for 9-11 minutes, allowing the cookies to rest for an additional 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
