Ingredients
-
1 pkg My Better Batch Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
- 1 large egg
- 8 TBSP unsalted butter, softened
- Valentine’s Day sprinkles
-
Hershey’s Hugs or Kisses (Lindsay is using Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Kisses in the video)
Directions
Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F. Use parchment paper to line cookie sheets.
Add 1 package of Double Chocolate Cookie Mix, 8 tablespoons of softened, unsalted butter, and 1 large egg in a large mixing bowl. Mix on medium to low speed for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
If you don’t have a hand or stand mixer, head kneading the dough is an option.Once the dough is mixed, use a cookie scoop or spoon to take 2 tablespoons at time and roll into balls until all of the dough has been used.
Pour the Valentine’s Day sprinkles into a small dish and take each ball of cookie dough and roll it in the Valentine’s Day sprinkles, coating each one generously on all sides.
Place each ball 2 ½ inches apart on a cookie sheet. Cook for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges have set.
Remove from the oven and gently press a single Hershey’s Kiss in the center of each cookie while the cookies are still warm.
Let the cookies rest on the cookie sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack or plate to fully cool.
