Ingredients
-
1 pkg My Better Batch Holiday Cheer Cookie Mix
- 6 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 Large Egg
- White Chocolate Melting Wafers
- Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
- Holiday Sprinkles
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Since time is already short around the holidays, we recommend lining a baking sheet with parchment paper - you’ll thank yourself when you’re cleaning up!
In a medium bowl, combine the Holiday Cheer Cookie Mix with 6 tablespoons of softened butter and one egg. Mix using a stand mixer, hand mixer, or by hand until the dough comes together and those colorful sprinkles peek through every scoop.
Scoop two tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 2 inches between each cookie. Bake at 375°F for 9-11 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are just set. Let the cookies cool completely on a wire rack before dipping; this helps the chocolate coat smoothly and set perfectly.
While the cookies cool, melt the white and dark chocolate wafers separately in heat-safe bowls, following the instructions on the package. Dip half of each cooled cookie into one of the melted chocolates, allowing any excess to drip off before placing it on parchment paper or a cooling rack (this will allow the excess to drip off while they set).
Before the chocolate sets, decorate with crushed peppermint, extra sprinkles, or a touch of sea salt for a festive finish. Let the cookies rest until the chocolate hardens - or pop them in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to speed it up!
