Ingredients
-
1 pkg My Better Batch Celebration Cookie Mix
- 8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Cup Conversation Hearts, Crushed + 16-20 Whole Pieces
Directions
Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F. This is the perfect temperature for baking a cookie with crisp, golden-brown edges and a soft, chewy interior.
Consider lining your baking sheets with parchment paper to make cleanup quick and easy. It also promotes even baking and ensures your cookies come off the sheet without breaking or burning.
Open the bag of candy hearts and put 16-20 in a small dish for later. Pour 1 Cup into a food processor and pulse a few times to break the candy up into smaller pieces. If you don’t have a food processor, you can use a rolling pin to break up the candy hearts inside of the bag.
Combine all of the ingredients into a medium-large mixing bowl. You can use a stand or hand mixer on medium speed for 2-3 minutes to combine, or knead the dough.
Use a cookie scoop or a spoon to separate 2 tablespoons of cookie dough. Roll the dough into a ball and place onto the prepared cookie sheets. Leave 2 ½ inches between each cookie to allow for spread while baking.
Once all of the dough has been used, bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are light brown and have set. Remove from the oven and allow to rest on the sheets for another 5 minutes. While the cookies are still warm, take the extra candy hearts and place one in the center of each cookie, gently pressing down. Transfer to a cooling rack.
Now all that’s left is to ENJOY! Happy Baking!
