Ingredients
-
1 pkg Classic Sugar Cookie Mix
- 8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 Large Egg
- ¼ Cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ TBSP Cinnamon
Directions
Preheat and Prep
Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Baking Sheets: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats to prevent sticking.
Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Topping: In a small bowl, mix the ¼ cup granulated sugar and ½ tablespoon cinnamon until combined.Combine the Cookie Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Classic Sugar Cookie Mix, 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter, softened, and 1 large egg. If using a mixing stand, use low speed to gently mix the ingredients. This process typically takes 2-3 minutes. Continue to mix until the dough is smooth and no dry ingredients are visible.
If you don’t have a stand or hand mixer, I recommend hand-kneading the dough. You watch me demonstrate how to do this in the Classic Sugar Cookie Mix video.Use The Dough To Form The Cookies
Take 2 tablespoons of cookie dough and gently roll it between your hands to form a ball.
Then, roll each ball into the cinnamon sugar topping until completely covered.Bake
Place the cookie dough balls 2 ½ inches apart on the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges of the cookie have set. Allow the cookies to sit for 5 minutes before removing from the cookie sheet.

Cookie Storage Tips
To keep your Snickerdoodles fresh and delicious for as long as possible, proper storage is key. Here are some tips:
Room Temperature: Store your Snickerdoodles in an airtight container at room temperature. They will stay soft and chewy for up to 5 days. To help maintain moisture, you can place a slice of bread in the container—this will prevent the cookies from drying out.
Refrigeration: If you live in a warmer climate or want to extend their freshness, you can refrigerate the cookies in an airtight container for up to 7 days. Just note that refrigeration may make the cookies firmer.
