1 pkg Classic Sugar Cookie Mix
- 8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 Large Egg
- 2 TBSP Pure Maple Syrup
- 1 tsp Maple Extract

- 1 TBSP Cinnamon

Preheat the Oven and Prepare the Baking Sheets
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Proper preheating ensures that your cookies bake evenly and develop that perfect texture.
Prepare the Cookie Dough
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Classic Sugar Cookie Mix, 1 large egg, and 8 TBSP of unsalted butter, softened. Mix until thoroughly combined.
Next, add 1 tsp of Maple Extract and 1 TBSP of maple syrup. Continue mixing until fully incorporated, creating a smooth and flavorful base for your cookies.Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar Topping
In a separate small bowl, mix 1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar and 1 tablespoon Cinnamon.
Roll Dough into Balls and Coat with Cinnamon Sugar Topping
Scoop approximately 2 tablespoons of dough and gently roll into a ball.
Roll the ball into the bowl containing the cinnamon sugar topping. Lightly coat the entire ball of cookie dough.
Once coated, place each ball 2 ½ inches apart on the baking sheet.Bake
Once the oven has reached temperature, bake the cookies at 375°F for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies have set.

In the video, I’ve share my favorite way to add a twist to these already delicious cookies - add soft caramel! To do this, simply purchase your favorite soft caramels - I’ve used Werther's, and place it into the middle of the cookie dough before baking.
