Looking for the perfect Fourth of July dessert that’s festive, easy, and guaranteed to impress? This fruit pizza, made with a soft sugar cookie crust, sweet cream cheese sauce, and vibrant fresh fruit, is a showstopper that’s as easy to make as it is delicious.
Ingredients
Sugar Cookie Crust
-
1 pkg My Better Batch Classic Sugar Cookie Mix
- 1 Large Egg
- 8 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
Fruit Pizza Topping
-
1 8-oz pkg Cream Cheese
- 2 TBSP Unsalted Butter, Softened
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
-
2 cups Fresh Fruit (we used blueberries, strawberries)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
First, prepare the Classic Sugar Cookie mix per the instructions. Begin by adding the contents of one package of cookie mix, an egg, and 8 tablespoons of softened, unsalted butter to a large mixing bowl. Using a mixer on medium speed, combine until the ingredients are well blended.
Take the cookie dough and spread it evenly on the bottom of the pizza pan. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the cookie crust edges have set. Allow the crust to cool completely before removing it from the pan.
While the crust is baking, prepare the creamy topping.
In a mixing bowl, combine one package of cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Make sure both are softened to room temperature - this is key for a smooth texture. Using medium-low to medium speed, beat for 2–3 minutes until creamy and lump-free.
Next, add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and ½ teaspoon cinnamon. Continue mixing on medium-low speed until everything is fully incorporated.
Move the cooled cookie crust onto a serving platter. Pour the sweet cream cheese topping onto the crust, spreading it evenly.
This is your chance to get creative - arrange the fruit in a fun or intricate design.
Cut, serve, and enjoy!

A Twist for Chocolate Lovers
Consider using the Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix instead of the Classic Sugar Cookie to create the crust!
Consider Different Fruits
If strawberries or blueberries don’t sound delicious, mix it up! Bananas, kiwis, apples, pears, raspberries, or blackberries are all great choices for the fruit topping.
Add Additional Toppings
You don’t have to use just fruit for the topping. Nuts, like pecans, chocolate chips, rainbow sprinkles, or a caramel drizzle, can spice things up!
