Oatmeal Caramelitas
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Quick Cooking Oats
1 1/2 Cups Light Brown Sugar
1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Baking Soda
1 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted
20 oz Caramel Sundae Syrup
1 bag (11.5 oz) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
In a large mixing bowl, combine Flour, Oats, Brown Sugar, Salt, Baking Soda, and Melted Butter. Stir to combine. Press half of the dough into the bottom of a greased (or parchment lined) 9 x 13 baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, top with caramel and chocolate chips. Be sure to spread across the entire surface. Crumble remaining oatmeal dough over the top and place back into the oven for 18-20 minutes. Allow to fully cool (about 2 hours). Slice into bars and enjoy!
